rsadelleThe listmom of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit fan fiction list I was on, emphasis on the past tense, said that although she hates to be an "uber bitch" about it, she's going to require people to post fic or feedback to stay on the list.
If you want people on your list to talk, you post discussion topics or write fic yourself, you don't force people to participate. We're in this for fun. If we care enough about the fandom to participate, we will. If we don't, we won't. But that should be our choice. We should be allowed to hang out and watch what goes on until we have something to add. And if we never have anything to add, that should be okay too. Participation or non-participation of list members does not determine the moral worth of the listmom.
