The weather has cooled down, which means I have a lot of energy, so I've been fall cleaning. It turns out that I have a whole lot of tapes (43), CDs (43), books (61), and some miscellaneous fannish items (28) I don't want anymore. And you can have them for free! I'll even pay for shipping. All I ask in return is that you give them a good home. This is first come, first serve, so get your requests in early!

How This Works: If you want something, or several somethings, leave a comment telling me what you want and email me your address. I'll cross things out as they get taken. My plan is to go to the post office about once a week. I'll be sending things book rate or priority mail depending on how much you want and how many boxes I have in the house. If you want anything like insurance, delivery confirmation, etc., let me know that when you email me.

Fine Print: If you're from out of the US and you want enough that it weighs a lot, we may have to negotiate some sort of split on the shipping charges. Those of you who like me enough to read my journal get first crack at the list, although feel free to point your friends this way if you think I have something they'll want. If you don't take stuff, I'll be looking at other places to give it away, but I won't post this list anywhere else for at least two or three weeks.

Tapes

Tapes Fine Print: Tapes marked with an asterisk (*) are the only ones in retail packaging; everything else is copies made for me or things I taped off TV. I believe one or more of the VMAs is only part of the show. I make no guarantees about quality of the tape or accuracy of my labeling. If you want to know the specifics of the unknown episodes, comment and I'll try to figure out exactly which ones they are. Some tapes don't have labels on them; I'll include label stickers with those but you'll have to write on them yourself.

If he had written a book about sign language I would not be surprised.

I would love the following:

CDs:
Ben Folds Five
the two Barenaked Ladies CDs
Faith Hill

Books:
the Metallica Ross Heflin stuff.

If they fit in the same package and you want to get rid of it, I'll take the other Metallica fan misc. stuff (the So Whats, etc.) too. I just don't want any more VHS tapes in my house as they are already threatening to take over the world. If I don't want them or have them already, I'm sure I can find another Metallica fan who wants them.

and next time I see you in IM, remind me to send you the college a cappella boyband covers I have--I've got the Tufts Jackson Jills doing "Bye Bye Bye" and I think it's Indiana U's Straight No Chaser with a medley of Backstreet, NSYNS, and Britney. I keep forgetting that you like college a cappella too, but this list reminded me.

Also, you'll be seeing a "Take my stuff!" post of my own soonish. Anyone need any stationary?
