rsadelleI needed a change of pace in my TV show Netflixing, so I bumped Dark Angel season 1 disc 1 to the top of my queue. I love it! I don't know why I didn't watch this show when it was originally on. (IMDb trivia tells me, "Fox canceled the show so that why they could afford to make Firefly - they couldn't afford to keep two sci-fi shows on the air.")
Good things about this show: Jessica Alba plays Max, a girl who kicks ass. Michael Weatherly is totally hot as Logan, which is surprising to me since I hate DiNozzo. Max's best friend Original Cindy is a dyke. Max works as a bicycle courier. (Anyone else remember Double Rush?) Plus, of course, the post-apocalyptic Seattle and aforementioned hip hop influence.
