I'm having trouble seeing the bright side today, so I'm asking for your help. Tell me something good. It can be anything you can think of--the best thing that happened to you this week, a recommendation of some sort, the location of a pretty picture--as long as it's something good.

I had to rescue a luna moth (http://zebra.biol.sc.edu/moth/luna.gif) out from between the window screen and the glass today. It was gorgeous and massive, with a wing span wider than my hand is long. It was also quite polite for something with a brain the size of a dust mite and never flipped out once when I was carrying it to the door.

Some good things that have happened to me this week:

I got to spend three days with my sister and nephew who I rarely see, and found that my nephew is growing into an energetic, beautiful, loving boy who doesn't mind being hugged and kissed and cuddled even though he's almost a teenager.

My kittens are growing up into adorable balls of fluff and love.

Me and my ex-boyfriend have finally opened up communication again. Last night we talked on the phone for two hours and it wasn't awkward at all, even though we haven't spoken for about eight months.

Yesterday at work we got cookies from The Cookie Shoppe, which makes these fabulous, giant cookies. (Our printer brings us batches sometimes. This time it was to make up for the fact that they were a little slow on our last job. Clearly the cookies work because we're not particularly upset about it.)

Um.. um.. Lauramac sent me cookies! And they were organic but really good anyway! Also, I was able to rent a little van so I could move this Friday.

Not especially super exciting happy, but good enough, I guess, for me..?
