Virtual Trick-or-Treating

Happy Halloween! Welcome to the seventeenth annual edition of virtual trick-or-treating.



Usually for virtual trick-or-treating, you get to knock or ring the bell by leaving a comment and I will give you a treat just for you. However, yesterday I fell on my morning walk by catching the edge of the asphalt on part of the street that doesn't have sidewalks and fractured a bone in my ankle. I'm in a boot and can move around, it was my left foot so I can still drive, and I had already planned to take today off so I don't have to go to work today, but I also don't feel up to doing a bunch of specific treats. So instead we're doing a virtual version of what I'm doing with candy at home. I'm leaving a handful of treats in the comments and you can enjoy whichever one(s) you want.

I wanted to read something I didn't know or care that much about, and I read a bunch of Batman fic earlier this year. Here are three longer Jason Todd stories I enjoyed as stories, with no knowledge of whether or not they're good as fic about the characters.

Some friends and I watched Doom At Your Service an episode every week or so. It's a KDrama, so you have to read it (unless you understand Korean). She's dying. He's the personification of Doom. There's magic that has to be refreshed by the two of them holding hands every day sometime before midnight. (You know I go feral for handholding.) They fall in love. Meanwhile, there's a side characters love triangle (the two men are roommates, one of them is the woman's ex-boyfriend, the other is her editor/a guy who kissed her once long ago) that would be easily solved with a threesome. I cried, I laughed, I felt all the feelings.
