rsadelleThe result of what I posted before is that I'm having something of a Dorothy experience. I'm going to learn a heck of a lot more from all of you than I am from some outside "expert."
Of course, part of getting help is knowing how to ask for it. I have four stories that have moved from the writing stage to the beta stage. I have people I have asked or intend to ask for read-throughs on all four of them. However, I know that there are people reading this who I don't know well enough to ask but who might also be willing to give a story or two a look-see. If you're interested in doing a read-through/mini-beta/beta/commentary for any of the following four stories, comment or email and I'll send it to you.
Three things of note:
1. I am in no hurry. You can take your time about it, although if you can only work within a deadline, I'll be happy to make one up for you.
2. I reserve the right to refuse. Molly, for example, has read through "Montana" but is not allowed to beta either "900 Miles to Stockholm" or the cowboy AU.
3. If I already asked you to do a read-through, do not be insulted by my asking other people. It's not because I think you won't do a good job. I'm trying to expand my circle of support here.

900 Miles to Stockholm
The Bourne Supremacy. Jason/Nicky FRAO 25K Het. After a couple of months of the gossip and work and visits to the beauty parlor that make up life in a small town, she stops jumping at every man dressed in black.

RPS. Matt Damon/Ben Affleck FRAO 32K Slash. Matt the city boy meets Ben the cowboy.
