Virtual Trick-or-Treating
Oct. 30th, 2020 11:17 amHappy Halloween! Welcome to the twelfth annual edition of virtual trick-or-treating. We're doing this early this year because I'm practicing Shabbat and also going to an outdoors, socially distanced Halloween lunch so I won't be on the internet for much of tomorrow.

Knock or ring the bell by leaving me a comment by noon Pacific Time on Halloween, and I'll reply with a treat of some sort. It might be a fic snippet, a picture, a song, or something else I come up with in the moment. Lurkers and anonymous trick-or-treaters are welcome! (But if you're posting anonymously or with a DW account that is completely friends-locked and you want a treat specific to your interests, let me know something about why you know me.)

Date: 2020-11-01 12:02 am (UTC)I have three treats for you, one horror-related and two gay.
First, the TV show Evil is now on Netflix (and possibly other places?). You might enjoy it! It could definitely fit in the horror genre, with a general theme of "is this supernatural or not?" Some of the human chilling stuff is extremely chilling. (Horror is not generally my thing, so I don't always follow your horror viewing reports, so apologies if you've already watched and talked about this and I missed it.)
Secondly, if you have, or can get, a library card to a library that has access to Kanopy, Parting Glances is on it (maybe also other places). I'm guessing there's a chance you've seen it before. I have, but I rewatched it a couple of weeks ago, and it holds up really well as being a charming and enjoyable story about gay men in the AIDS epidemic. (The one thing that really doesn't hold up: there's a sequence where two of the characters put on some stereotypical Native American caricature costume elements and run around whooping.) It's also the film debut of both Steve Buscemi and Kathy Kinney.
Thirdly, here is some queer crayon art:

Date: 2020-11-02 01:39 am (UTC)Thanks for the horror rec! I have not seen Evil yet, so I will add it to my Netflix queue and check it out.
And thank you for the gay movie rec! Parting Glances is one of those movies I always meant to watch as a young gay but never got around to it. Our public library system was forced to drop Hoopla back in September due to impending budget cuts and I don't think they offer Kanopy either. Lek's school might have Kanopy or the DVD, so I'll check with him and see.
I love the queer crayon art!

Date: 2020-11-01 12:07 am (UTC)Since one of the things I wanted to be able to do when I learned to draw was send drawings to people, I decided I should learn to draw cats. It took me a few tries, but I did learn to reliably draw a sleepy kitty, to the point that I can even do it in pen or crayon where erasing isn't an option.
I thought I would try learning to draw other cats, and I tried drawing a cat based on the picture of a cat one of my friends posted. I was also at the same time trying to draw a dress worn by someone I follow on Instagram, which led to this:
My realistic cat drawings still need a little work.

Date: 2020-11-01 12:26 am (UTC)After buying the ice cream set, Eddie starts getting all kinds of ads for things for children. He ignores most of them, but there's one that catches his eye, a picture that goes with a link to fun activities for kids. He clicks through, reads about the one with the picture.
"V?" He shows the pictures and description to Venom. "What do you think?"
Venom practically vibrates with excitement. Yes, Eddie! Now?
"Yeah, sure, love, we can do that now."
The activity is marshmallow taffy, where the kids take a marshmallow and stretch and pull it until it has a taffy-like consistency. Eddie gathers Venom into his hands, shapes them into a roughly marshmallow-shaped ball, and then pulls them apart. His hands sink into Venom, bits of Venom squishing through his fingers and then pulling tight. He brings his hands close together again, squeezing Venom between them before he pulls them apart again.
"That good?" he asks.
Eddie, yes. Venom is starting to sound vague and blissed out. More.
"Okay, love." Eddie keeps going, stretching and squeezing, feeling Venom become more pliant in his hands as he goes along. It feels good, Venom between his hands, knowing from the trembling and the sounds Venom is starting to make how good it is for them. There's a meditative aspect to it, the repetitive motions of his hands, but there's a hum below that, not unlike what he felt watching how much Venom liked the ice cream machine.
That reminds him of what he did then. "Venom," he says, "I'm going to." And then he brings the stretched and squeezed ball of symbiote up to his mouth. He opens his mouth, and closes it again around a fold of Venom. He's careful, uses his tongue and lips, not his teeth, to mouth at Venom.
Eddie. Venom squeaks.
Eddie makes a muffled, "Mmm," sound through the mouthful of Venom, but doesn't stop; that wasn't a bad squeak.
He draws Venom out of his mouth, stretches them between his hands, squeezes them back together into a ball, and puts his mouth on them again. He can tell how much Venom likes it; he does too. It feels good to make Venom feel so good. Feels really good.
He needs both his hands to do this for Venom; he can't take his cock out like he did with the ice cream machine. He's hard, like he was then, and he rocks his hips up, trying to get as much friction as he can rubbing against the inside of his underwear. The zipper of his jeans is in the right spot, but it's just a little too light.
He presses Venom hard between his tongue and the roof of his mouth, letting Venom fill up his mouth, pressing them into a smaller space before letting go and stretching them out. He needs more, and he can't stop because he needs both hands to make Venom feel good.
He gets up.
Eddie?
"Not stopping, V," Eddie promises. "Just." He looks around the apartment, and his gaze lands on the couch. That will do. He straddles the arm of it, hands working Venom harder now, pulling more, squeezing harder, closing his lips tighter around him. There's enough pressure now, when he rubs against the arm of the couch, to feel just right on his cock.
Eddie. Venom sounds worshipful.
Eddie sucks on the mouthful of Venom he has between his lips, takes it out to stretch it, thrusts against the arm of the couch. He squeezes Venom between his hands, uses both hands to push as much of Venom as he can take into his mouth, and he groans around it while he comes, while Venom melts into a puddle of goo on his tongue.
Eddie. Venom is barely able to speak, but Eddie can hear the heart eyes in their voice.
Eddie lets Venom pool back out into his hands and kisses them, just his lips to their surface this time. "We can do that again," he promises.
