The candles Maripier leans over the table to light do, however, and so does the way Brandon and Maripier both lean forward a little more than usual when they talk to him. The three of them always flirt with each other for fun, but this has a more serious tone to it, like they mean it.
Goes A Long Way (LJ, AO3) for agalinis. Hockey, Sidney Crosby and Taylor Crosby, General Audiences, 1600 words: Taylor's smile is as warm and welcoming as ever. The hug she gives him is so much like Mom that it makes Sid pause for a moment. Sometimes he still thinks of Taylor only as his much younger sister and forgets that she's all grown up, and a mom too.

It's addressed to Segs, so he doesn't open it. He snaps a picture of the box, including the return label, and sends it to Segs.
