Thankfulness: November 4

Today I'm thankful to live in the middle of town. My parents' house is on the outskirts, and even though I've lived where I live now for nine years, it's still a delightful novelty to me that I can go to the grocery store and the gas station and be home in twenty minutes.

THis is what I love the most about having moved to the small town I am in! I can do everything and be home in so little time. When I lived in the suburbs of a big city, it took so long to get ANYWHERE! It was probably the same distance away, but with no traffic, I can zip all over town and be back in so little time. And my small town has all the things I could need: Costco, Home Depot, Target, Ross, Smiths, Super 1, JC Pennies, Lowes, etc.

Yes! And my commute to/from work is 7-10 minutes, so I can even come home for lunch.
