Three-Day Weekend Prompt Snippets

I wrote four snippets this weekend - and had additional plot bunnies for one of the prompts - so this was an excellent creative refreshment project.

You Make Me Smile (LJ, AO3) for grim_lupine. Hockey, girl!Jeff Carter/Mike Richards, Mature, 3000 words: When Jeff arrives in LA, it's the first time Mike has really seen her happy since the last time they won a game together in Philly.

A Nice Way to Start (LJ, AO3) for zvi_likes_tv. Hockey, Jordan Eberle/Taylor Hall/Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Teen, 870 words: Jordan rubs his eyes. He knew he was going to have to talk about it, and he still doesn't really know what to say. "The last time Lauren and I broke up," he says, "for good." He fidgets, and sighs, but he has to say this. "She was pregnant. I have a kid. I didn't know until two days ago."

Score (LJ, AO3) for unperfectwolf. Hockey, Fred Gervasi/Tyler Seguin, Explicit, 1000 words: Tyler scores, and then scores again.

Under the Influence (LJ, AO3) for dine. Hockey, T.J. Oshie/Jonathan Toews, Explicit, 820 words: "Season's over," TJ says as he uses the towel to seal off the crack at the bottom of the door. "It's Friday afternoon. I know you don't have anything major due next week. We," he pulls out the papers and lighter with a flourish, "are getting baked."
