Thankfulness: November 1

This is the sixth year of doing this, and of course I started out by forgetting to do it yesterday. The idea is to post one thing I'm thankful for every day until Thanksgiving, which is an idea I picked up from kaygrr many years ago.

Yesterday I was thankful for freshly roasted pumpkin seeds, which are the very best thing about pumpkin carving.
