I am again in that place where I'm feeling rebellious about my self-imposed goals. My brain: "Everyone else gets to just go home and have fun, and I'm going home to do more work?" The bonus downside to this is that I end up not writing a lot of other miscellaneous things because I feel guilty for working on things other than what I'm supposed to be working on. The reality check is that doing my writing only takes about half an hour and I do also do a lot of goofing off. That said, I'm trying to think if there's anything else I can cut out of my life/internet life that takes me away from writing. (I have already put Netflix back on hold and stopped reading Jezebel.)

Report on April:
  • Write at least 400 words per day on weekdays, except Fridays, and 600 words per day on weekends of book two. - Yikes. I only actually did this seven days, plus a little bit more on another day.

  • Write at least 200 words per day on weekdays, except Fridays, and 300 words per day on weekends of the Leighton/Victoria story. - Did this five days, plus a little more two other days.

  • Post one fic, never finished fic, or snippet every week. (These are Sunday through Saturday weeks, and we're going to count this week as complete.) - I managed to do this all but one week.

  • Write miscellaneous snippets as inspired. - Check!

  • Say positive things on Twitter. - This continues to be a goal.

Aww. Well...can't be good all the time, but it's really inspiring for me, at least, to see the list of your efforts.
