Overall Thoughts:
This seems like a lot, but my total wordcount for everything on this list is just under 110,000 words, which is lower than last year's total wordcount. Of course, I didn't have quite the same dedicated profic writing goals going on last year, and this doesn't include the nearly 34,000 words of fan fic WIP I hope to finish this year or all the stuff I've written in email/over Twitter that hasn't been posted here.

Skimming through things brings home to me how much I've been working - both consciously and not - on writing about women.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I didn't really make any predictions about how much I would write. I did a big bang for the first time this year, which I only sort of predicted.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?
Well, I never would have guessed that I would write something about Nick Scimeca. Other unexpected characters/pairings: Tom/Sean, Bebe, MCR. (The most unexpected is Tom/Mike, but none of that, except for one line in the girl!Mike college AU, has made it out of my Google docs yet.)

What's your own favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
I love all girl!Andys ever. All of them. (There were really only three, but I have such affection for all three of them.) Also, "Nick Scimeca, Hipster (Who Doesn't Know He's) In Love," the Gabe/Nate/Victoria College AU, and "Seek and Ye Shall Find." (I am bad at choosing just one.)

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I think the biggest risk was writing sex scenes about women that don't fit the formula. They don't seem to have gotten much interest from readers, so maybe the lesson I should be learning is that there's a reason we have a formula. I suspect my rebellious side will continue to resist the formula, though, and keep trying new things. (I have half an entry written about this that I might eventually finish and post.)

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Fanfic: I want to finish/edit/post the Leighton/Vicky-T story, edit/post the accidental marriage story, write more of either (or both) of my kink fics in progress, finish some Mike/Kevin bingo square stories. Profic: I want to sell the first novel, finish the second novel, start the third novel.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Ha! I was skimming to see what had the most comments, and there are a couple of things with no comments and many more with only one or two. (I try to remind myself, when I'm internally lamenting a lack of interest, that I read a ton of things I like/love without leaving comments. I am also working on leaving more comments.) I keep posting, so obviously I'm not that bothered by it.

Most fun story to write:
I love writing, and most of it was fun to write. Even though most of the story around Mike Joins the JoBros didn't make it onto the page, it kept me entertained in my head for a long time. "Nick Scimeca, Hipster (Who Doesn't Know He's) In Love" made me laugh.

Story with the single sexiest moment:
Again, this seems like something I should be asking you. The actual sexiest moment is in something that hasn't made it out of my email. Sexy moments to me: Gabe and Travie in "Five Times Gabe Saporta Had Kinky Sex," the first time they three of them have sex in "Going Steady," the sixth time in "Pull Out My Soul," and the unwritten parts of the Johnson/m + Crossdressing.

Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Really, whoever came up with this meme doesn't know me. Although looking it over, this year's writing was pretty tame. The Johnson crossdressing porn I didn't actually write is probably the kinkiest thing, with "Hurt Me" being the actual most out there kink.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
I'm not sure writing anything shifted my perceptions. The biggest shift in perception came with the feedback for "You Can't Kiss A Movie." A lot of people talked about the infidelity aspect and how at the beginning of the story they didn't want Victoria to get back together with Gabe. In my head, they were moving that way but not actually together when he slept with Leighton.

Hardest story to write:
"You Can't Kiss A Movie." I wrote the fun parts before I ever signed up for big bang, and there was real work to fit them into a whole story that would hold together.

Biggest Disappointment:
This is such a weird question. I guess I'm most disappointed in the things I could see in my head but never finished writing.

Biggest Surprise:
How much people loved the food in "You Can't Kiss A Movie." I haven't even eaten half the stuff they eat in that story.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story:
You tell me! A lot of the girl!sex is telling, but not unintentionally so.
