In one word: amazing. In more than one word, there are three things I think made this an excellent film. They're more about the movie as a movie than about the movie as Harry Potter, but I'll cut them anyway, in case you want to avoid even the slightest knowledge about it before you see it.

1. The use of silence. So many movies have constant music and dialogue, and this one just let us sit there with the silence.

2. Scenes ended just when they needed to. There were a handful of scenes where I thought, "And cut to commercial," and that's exactly where they cut.

3. It didn't feel long. I am often cranky about the ever-increasing length of movies, and have been known to mutter, "There's nothing wrong with a ninety-minute movie." When we got to the second to last scene, I thought, "This must be the end of the movie," and then I thought, "No, wait. Has it really been over two hours?"

ALL OF THOSE THINGS, EXACTLY. I think I loved it so much because it was such an un-movie-ish movie.
