My story for bandombigbang is done and edited (if only by me). If I can come up with a title, I'm planning to turn it in early. Titles: so hard.

I've signed up for bandgirlsbang, which has expanded its scope this year to include any woman in any band. If there's a woman in a band you want to write about, you should sign up!

I'm planning to finally write the Leighton/Vicky-T Good Girls Go Bad AU (my original plot bunny) that, as far as I know, no one's written yet. If someone has, you should tell me about it so I can go read it and then write the girl!Gabe/Victoria d/s fic (another someday I'll finish it project) instead.

I am super excited about this! I've been wanting this story for almost a year. I'm also starting out with slightly more research than I did for my bandombigbang story: I put in an interlibrary loan request for Poker Nation: A High-Stakes, Low-Life Adventure into the Heart of a Gambling Country and also checked out Rounders when I went to the library to pick it up this morning.

If you remember my poll, I gave you the option to say you wanted to read along with this story. I do much better with long projects when I have people reading along, so if you're interested, feel free to let me know.

Titles: boo! I often pick up a line that gets repeated through the story, but the only one I can think of for this sounds weird as a title.

I'm horrible at picking out themes, ugh, and I never seem to have a recurring line? I don't put enough thought into my writing I guess.

I love the idea of the Leighton/Vicky-T Good Girls AU! um, I feel like this is possibly a very creepy comment since I've never commented on your LJ before and we don't know each other. In short: I read You Have My Heart a while back and enjoyed it a lot, I came back to your LJ because I enjoy your fannish attitude toward women and your writing style, and the Good Girls AU and Cobra Starship super hero high school AU fic prompts are fantastic so I've been hoping to see something from either *_*

I've been meaning to ask you for ages if you would mind my writing the superhero one--I may never actually finish it, since my track record is bad, but I'd like to give it a try as a Vicky-T/Gabe Ryland/Alex fic if it really is up for grabs and you wouldn't mind a total stranger swiping it. (Also, you totally shouldn't feel obligated to show me anything, but I'd be interested in reading along to the Leighton/Vicky-T AU.)

Hi there. I'm glad you're here! :) I keep reminding myself when I comment in the LJs of people I don't already know that this is how we get to know people. Thank you so much for all the nice things you've said about my writing!

I would love to see you tackle the superhero bunny! Those bunnies are definitely there for the taking, and I'll be excited if any of them become stories.

I'm feeling trusting (also, you wrote Push fic that makes me desperately want to rewatch the movie), so if you email or message me the email you use for Google Docs, I'll add you to the Leighton/Vicky-T doc and you can read along.
