April Writing Goals Report, May Writing Goals

Report on April:
I did have a day when I didn't do anything, but other than that:

• 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of the novel. Check! This 300 words thing is doable.


• Finish the actor!Gabe/director!Victoria (my big bang story) by writing at least 200 words per day. This gets at least half a check! I turned in the rough draft last night, but it still needs one more scene (and probably some extension of two more).


• Edit the accidental marriage fic. Half a check to this too. I read over it and turned it over to lakeeffectgirl, who has made very helpful suggestions that I still need to do something about.


• Read through the Mike/Kevin story at least once, even without doing a real edit. Sadly, this did not happen.


• Work on at least one thing for my bingo card. Check! I didn't do a lot of it, but I did a few sentences of the regency romance, and wrote out the beginning of what might be the wingfic. (It keeps trying to be Mike/Bill. We'll see what happens with it.)


• Finish the girl!Andy and Matt slept together once story. Sadly, no.


• Write miscellaneous snippets as inspired. Check!


• Say positive things on Twitter. Half a check, at least. I didn't complain a huge amount, but I did a little more than I like.

May goals:

• 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of the novel, with an unofficial goal of writing more than that.


• Finish the last few scenes of the actor!Gabe/director!Victoria (my big bang story) by writing at least 200 words per day until it's done. Edit it. Turn it over to someone else to beta. Fix whatever they find. This has to happen because the final draft is due May 30.


• Edit the accidental marriage fic.


• Read through the Mike/Kevin story at least once, even without doing a real edit.
