Never-Finished Fic: Mike/Kevin in Chicago

rsadelleThis was an idea I had for how to involve real life connections (Kevin-Demi-Bill-Mike) in a Mike/Kevin story that never went anywhere. Kevin got married yesterday, which makes this seem appropriate to post today.
Mike hears about it; of course he does. Everyone with a TV, radio, or internet connection has heard about it. Apparently when a Jonas brother gets unengaged and disappears from public view, it's big news.
Mike happens upon footage of an interview or press conference or something, and he has a brother, so he recognizes what's going on: the other brothers are totally covering, and the parents, even though they're trying to be calm, have no idea what's going on.
But there's hearing about it and then there's flying back to Chicago for writing and practice and finding the missing Jonas looking miserable on the couch in their practice space.
