I was trying to decide what to post today, and then Spencer said he thought he could do something with the JoBros in the closet, which means obviously it should be the Spencer/Joe story.

The origin of this story is an email thread in which a friend who I don't think is out of the JoBros closet and will thus remain unnamed said, "I am now going to reiterate my request for Brendon/Joe. Or Spencer/Joe. Or Brendon/Nick. I'm not picky." In response, I said, "My brain just went to a happy Spencer/Joe d/s place," which doesn't seem to have come from anywhere other than her pairing suggestions and my love of d/s. So then I wrote a little bitty snippet. This note is almost longer than the story.

They meet at a party, and Joe makes Spencer smile, and he wants to keep doing that, so he turns up the dial on his antics, and is goofy enough to get away with winking outrageously when they exchange numbers.

Joe calls him the next day, and they start dating. Spencer's a perfect gentleman.

One night, when Joe's been over at Brendon and Spencer's for dinner and they're kissing goodbye in the entryway, Joe pressed against the wall, Spencer digs his thumbs into the hollows of Joe's jaw to make him open wider and Joe goes boneless against him.

"You know," Joe says, another night when they're making out in the car in front of his house, "I don't actually believe in the purity ring thing."

Spencer just hmmms noncommittally, but the next time they're at Spencer's place and Brendon's out, Spencer takes Joe to his bedroom and pushes him down to his knees with hands rough on his shoulders, and Joe moans when Spencer pulls his hair.
