Can I tell you that I really wanted some interaction while watching this? You can tell because I made a whole bunch of Facebook status updates about it. They're posted below, in reverse chronological order because it's bedtime and I didn't think to do this until just minutes ago.

9:59 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson is not horribly impressed with Kings, but willing to give it another episode.

9:55 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson also thinks they should have upped their green screen budget.

9:48 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson thinks this show should have started half an hour into the second episode (where it actually picks up) and told us the previous hour and a half via flashbacks.

9:15 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson is not impressed now that the plot point she remembered has made an appearance. She is also not impressed with bad green screen work.

8:49 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson maybe needs to rely on other sources for her TV show news; the biggest plot point she remembers about the Kings blahblahblah has barely been touched on so far.

8:43 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson thinks David had darn well better have a flaw, otherwise this show is really going to suck.

8:31 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson is not excited by Kings thus far.

8:03 - Ruth Sadelle Alderson fiddled with the antenna and is watching Kings live instead of waiting to watch it online tomorrow.

Oh, did that start this week? I had a vague desire to watch it, though Sunday night television is never going to work with my schedule.

(I was at a kickass Ferron concert in SF tonight, and have just spent *way* too much money on CDs. And should go to bed, since I have to get up early for the trip home tomorrow.)

Oh, myspace! I was trying to think where to direct people so they could listen to her, since I have no idea how to upload music. (I have to say, though I've loved her for years--I first heard her at the Michigan Women's Music Festival in '91--she's much much more fun live. She's just hilariously funny, and we had amazing seats because we paid a very little extra for dinner reservations, so we were right at the front.

Ugh. I need to pack and get home. I decided not to take the train at the crack of dawn, since my friend and I both overslept, but that means I need to get to Amtrak via Muni and Bart, so I suppose I'd better get moving.

Let me know if you want to do something this week. Other than my taxes and catching up on a few work projects, I'm pretty free.
