2008 Dewey Decimal Project: In Which I Fail (but where's the fun?)

So I'm about 90 pages into my three hundred-page Dewey Decimal Project book for this month. There's no way I'm going to finish it today. I actually started it on Wednesday, and with the rate I can read, it would have been possible for me to read it all by today. And yet, I didn't. I read fan fic and listened to Steve Carlson (I never used to like him, but he's growing on me) and daydreamed about celebrities instead.

Gretchen suggests that we enjoy the fun of failure, but I'm having trouble finding the fun in this. It seems like just one more way I'm not living up to my own goals.
