I've been making an effort over the last year and a half or so to listen to new-to-me music, so the first thing I was excited about with this mix was that I only knew one song on it. Then, once I listened to it, I was also excited about the way it fits with the story. I love that it sounds like a movie soundtrack, but not the glossy new-school, let's shove any music that we want to promote now onto it sort of movie soundtrack. This is an old-school, mellow soundtrack for a romantic movie, which is absolutely perfect for this story.
