The Paper Lantern at eight.
Jul. 31st, 2005 04:13 pmSky High is totally awesome.
It's hilarious. Coach Boom trying to convince Medulla to double date: "Did I mention it's her evil twin?"
The superhero world is perfectly played. Everyone wears outrageously crisp and bright clothes all the time.
The actors all play their parts perfectly. Lynda Carter, as Principal Powers, gets to say, "I'm not Wonder Woman." Kurt Russell is just the right level of over the top as The Commander. The sidekicks are hilarious, as well as useful. Steven Strait's Warren Peace (his mother's a superhero, his father's a supervillain) is hot, hot, hot, and I don't just mean his firethrowing powers.
And of course there's the romance. Will and Gwen! Will and Layla! Zack and Magenta! And a little Zack/Ethan or Speed/Lash or even Will/Warren wouldn't go amiss either.
