I was totally bewitched by Bewitched.

But before I tell you about it, some gushing over a trailer. You must go watch the trailer for Rent. It's awesome. I'll be happy if the movie is even half as good as the trailer. Collins and Angel are so cute and carefree, and Roger is incredibly hot. And I can't believe they used a whole song! That was cool.

And now, Bewitched. I really liked it! I was a bit skeptical going into it, but it turns out that it's completely charming and absolutely adorable. A lovely little summer comedy. And you can put all that on the movie poster.

Nicole is extremely good. She does a great job of pulling off Isabel's opening innocence and growing knowledge of the world. I dislike Will Ferrell, but he was properly subdued. And then there were all kinds of unexpected people. Katie Finneran! Stephen Colbert! Steve Carell! Kristin Chenoweth! And while Kristin Chenoweth did not get herself a full musical number, she did get to absentmindedly sing to herself a couple of times. I may be just a bit enamoured of Heather Burns' Nina. (In the femslash, Nina and Maria should totally hook up.) And can I mention how much Jason Schwartzman looks like the boyfriend of one of my friends?
