There should be a story where they get home from a long road trip and Shawsy and Chaunette invite Bollig over for dinner, and Bollig thinks they're just hanging out, and Shawsy's being kind of a shit, and Chaunette looks at Bollig and is like, "Have you not been taking care of our boy?" And then Bollig is very confused, and Chaunette has to explain kink to him and Shawsy gets in trouble with her for not explaining it, and eventually they figure their shit out and Chaunette and Bollig are both Shawsy's doms.

"What is with you?" Chaunette asks without heat when Shawsy's story spins out into a nonsensical ramble. She turns a look on Brandon. "Are you not taking care of our boy?" She says it like Brandon should know what the hell she's talking about. He doesn't, and it must show on his face because she frowns and turns back to Shawsy. "I thought you were going to talk to him."

Shawsy looks down at his plate. "I didn't know how."

"The same way you always do this," Chaunette says. "You state your wants and needs and listen to his."

Brandon is not following this conversation at all. "Talk to me about what?"

Chaunette glances at him, and then looks at Shawsy. "Do you want me to talk to him?"

Shawsy looks up, at Brandon, and then down again. "Yes."

Chaunette looks between them again. "Are you okay to be here while I do?"

"Yes."

Brandon still has no idea what the hell they're talking about, but that sounds like he's about to find out.

"What do you know about BDSM?" Chaunette asks him, and if he'd thought about possibilities, that wouldn't be one.

"Uh, not a lot? Just, like what you see on TV and stuff."

Chaunette makes a face. "They get a lot of stuff wrong. Roughly, it stands for bondage, discipline, domination/submission, sadism and masochism. Consensual power exchange. We mostly do some light bondage, a lot of domination. Sometimes Andrew likes being spanked."

Brandon's no stranger to locker room talk, guys bragging about what they get up to in bed, but it's usually not this kind of thing, and it's usually not over dinner in mixed company.

"Uh, okay," he says.

"Andrew," Chaunette says, "was supposed to talk to you about, and see if you were interested."

"Interested in what exactly?"

"Being his dom."
