Possibly my favorite thing TBrown did for his ex: she goes to school in Michigan and is in a sorority. Last year for spring break, she went to visit him in Glens Falls, even though she presumably had warm weather vacation options. So he made his room into a tropical themed vacation for her. One of them tweeted a picture (on an unlocked at the time Twitter):

He also made American Thanksgiving dinner for her and his American roommate when she went to visit him over her Thanksgiving break. This is why I want all the fic about him being romantic with Segs - he's obviously a romantic guy.

Yes! That's the interesting part of service kink. I think people shy away from it because they think of it as demeaning (think about how we talk about customer service jobs), but we also have a cultural value of valuing selfless service. And then mixing that up with what is just personality and what can be done in some sort of kink context (particularly if you think of kink as broader than sex) makes it very interesting.
