A certain someone is a terrible enabler, which resulted in me thinking a lot about Danny/Claude/Ryanne threesome options:
Claude asks Danny if he'll have a threesome with them, and Danny stares at him, and then asks, "Is this your idea or hers?"
"Hers," Claude says. "Mostly."
Danny makes him explain, and Claude tells him that Ryanne has mentioned more than once that she'd be into having two guys making her feel good, and Claude wants to give her a present because she's so great, and this seems like a good one.
"Did she mean it, or was it just a fantasy?" Danny asks.
"I think she meant it," Claude says.
In one version of the story, they do it and it's fun, and it's only ever sex. In another version of the story, it's supposed to only be sex, even when they do it more than once, but then it becomes more than that.
In some other threesome variation, Danny comes over just after Valentine's Day and is looking at the card on the counter. "What is this?"
"Ryanne gave it to me," Claude says.
"It has a penguin on it."
"Yes," Claude says, resigned.
"Isn't it cute?" Ryanne asks brightly.
"A penguin," Danny says.
"Yep." Ryanne's smile doesn't dim, but it does take on a sharper edge, and Danny can't help but laugh.
"Nice chirp," he says, and he and Ryanne high-five across the counter.
