norwich36 and idahophoenix. While I've often known people who were fannish in other ways, or who know about fandom to the extent that they can follow it when I talk about it, I have spent most of my fannish life without local fangirl friends, and now I have two. They are also interesting women and wonderful, supportive friends above and beyond their fannishness. Now I just have to get to the next step of introducing them to each other.
