Pete/Patrick-ish Snippets/Plot Bunnies

Technically, one of them is gen and one of them is Pete/Patrick/Brendon/Spencer, but the three of them more or less make sense in a post together.
*
This first one is a gen snippet of what I've been wanting someone to write: Travie telling Pete and Patrick they need to just talk to each other.
"You're being an idiot," Travie tells him, but Travie doesn't know, can't know. Travie didn't spend a lifetime sharing himself with the world via Patrick.
Two a.m. and Pete can't sleep, can't just lie in bed either. He brushes his lips over Ashlee's cheek before he gets up; she sleeps through it, used to it by now.
He's feeling too restless to do much of anything. He gets a glass of juice but leaves it on the counter, opens his laptop and leaves it on the coffee table, reads two paragraphs of a book and abandons it on the couch. He checks in on Bronx who's sleeping sound and the most perfect thing Pete's ever had a hand in creating. He ends up in front of the sliding glass door, looking out at the backyard and then at his reflection in the window, phone in his hand, trying to figure out if anyone else is awake right now.
He gets his answer when his phone buzzes, sending vibrations all the way up his arm. It's been a long time since he's seen Patrick's name on his phone.
"Travie keeps telling me I'm an idiot. Why are we friends with that guy?" Patrick sounds grumpy with an undertone of affection, just the way Pete's known him for years in practice spaces and studios, apartments and buses, vans and radio stations.
Pete grins and sinks down onto the nearest available surface - in this case, the floor - with relief. "Man, I don't even know."

The second one is the plot bunny for some Pete/Patrick/Brendon/Spencer kink.
I have sadly forgotten the actual details of this story, but I remember the basic outline, and that it was going to be from Patrick's pov. Pete and Patrick are together and interested in kink, but they both want to sub, so it's not working out well.
Brendon and Spencer come over to hang out one day, and Pete keeps pushing at Spencer because he's so relaxed. "Did you smoke up before you came over?"
Brendon and Spencer have a whole conversation with just their eyebrows. Patrick always thought that was a Spencer and Ryan thing, but maybe it's actually a skill of Spencer's. Spencer eventually shrugs.
Brendon says, "I tied him up and didn't let him come."
Patrick would laugh at the way Pete's eyes practically bug out of his head, but he's too busy imagining that.
So then Pete and Patrick talk about it, a lot, and they wonder what it means that Brendon and Spencer told them, and eventually Patrick goes to talk to Brendon about it. Then he talks to Pete and assumes Brendon talks to Spencer, and he and Pete end up holding hands up the walkway to Brendon and Spencer's house one night, prepared to stay the night and do what Brendon tells them.
Spencer helps out Brendon, because this is mostly about Pete and Patrick, but Brendon's his dom and if they're going to play, they're going to play together. Spencer's being good, totally obedient and bringing Brendon whatever he needs, helping him hold Pete down to tie him up. Because of course Pete struggles and fights back and gets a spanking out of it. Patrick's so relieved to have someone else be responsible for Pete.
Anyway, I don't remember all the details of this, but I'm pretty sure it involved gangbanging Pete and then, after Brendon and Spencer clean him up, all of them curling up in bed to sleep, Patrick and Spencer on either side of Pete and Brendon on the other side of Spencer.

The third one is two snippets from an unwritten werewolf!Pete/Patrick, Andy/werewolf!Matt story where Andy sends Patrick to Matt for werewolf advice.
Pete's a werewolf. Patrick doesn't exactly know how to deal with this, but Andy, at some point, says, "Matt's a werewolf. You could talk to him about it."
So Patrick drives up to Milwaukee and has lunch with Matt, who tells him as much about werewolf lives as he can handle at once - including the fact that every wolf has a pack and every pack has an alpha.
"It used to be that packs were always wolves, but now." Matt shrugs. "There aren't as many of us, and we have a lot more human packmates."
"So does that make you the alpha?"
"Nah. Hurley's my alpha. I'm an omega."
Patrick is starting to reach the limit of how much he can take in at one time. "What's that?"
"I'm part of the pack hierarchy, but kind of out of it and I can keep an alpha calm."
It is true that Andy's a lot more relaxed with Matt around.
Matt waves his hand. "It's complicated. Pete's not one, so it's not really going to help you."
"Is Pete an alpha?"
Matt laughs. "That guy? No way."
Patrick almost doesn't want to ask his next question. "If wolves can have human alphas, does that make me Pete's alpha?"
Matt cocks his head at him. "No. You're probably more dominant than him, but you're not an alpha."
Patrick breathes a sigh of relief. He doesn't want to be any more in charge of Pete than he already is. "Then who's Pete's alpha?"
Matt looks thoughtful for a moment. "Andy's alpha enough for two packs."
And, yeah, it's usually Andy who comes between them when Pete and Patrick get pissed off enough to go after each other's throats.

The tour Matt spends with them is different, and not just because they have two buses. Andy's different, and Pete is too, although the effect isn't as strong with him.
Still, Andy sometimes has to pull Pete and Patrick apart, and it's after one of those that Matt drags Patrick off to a diner where he has pancakes and Patrick wishes it were a vegan one so he could have a milkshake or something. He settles for fries, and fifteen minutes later, he's no longer quite as pissed off.
"You're doing your omega thing on me."
"A little," Matt admits. "You're Andy's pack, and I'm supposed to keep the pack calm. It's not a thing I can really turn off."
Patrick twists his hat by the brim, and eats his fries.
"You know werewolves mate for life?" Matt says after a long while of very restful silence.
"No."
"We do. We can have other lovers, or they can, or whatever, but we'll stay with them, forever." The look on Matt's face is one of such wistful longing.
Patrick thinks, "Andy's a fucking idiot," and then thinks, "Fuck," because he's seen that same look on Pete's face, directed at him.
