Not that I've found. I haven't delved very far into Misery Signals though; maybe there's press about them I can use as reference. There definitely isn't much in the way of a fannish conception of them. (Although Kyle tells this hilarious story about being at a party where some woman actually knew who Misery Signals were but didn't believe he was Kyle because Kyle's much cuter.) The thing for me about making characterization about them in this story is that it's totally based on FC's actual origin story, so I want it to be as real as possible. I also find myself just thinking about what needs to be said in Matt/Andy fic and then trying to distribute it evenly between Ryan, Kyle, and Stu, which means they don't particularly have distinct personalities.

Maybe after big bang I'll do some research for this again. I keep hoping Burning Empires will get more press and that'll do the hard part of this work for me.
