The summary for this story was going to be "Sydney Crosby is a hockey player, not a mother," but it was kind of a disaster in a lot of ways. I still like some of the bits of it, as story bits if not as story bits about Syd. Part of the idea for this story was that Syd never quite gets (at least in the parts I wrote) that Alex is in love with her.
