Report on September:

The first half of September was really horrible, and I did almost nothing on any of my goals lists. I did at least do some editing and add everything from the last three months to my delicious tags and master post while I wasn't writing. The second half of the month was better (and prompt snippets did help, even if I'm not done with them yet), and I'm definitely hoping for October to be much better as it gets cooler. I was legitimately sick for part of September, and the goals report below does not include the day I was sick enough to go to bed early instead of writing.

  • 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of the novel, except Fridays. - Ugh. Didn't do this on 15 days I was supposed to, but did on one Friday.

  • 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of my Leighton/Victoria story, except Fridays. - Ugh. Didn't do this on 15 days I was supposed to, but did on one Friday.

  • Edit something. Anything! Possibly the girl!Andy and Matt slept together once story, now that I think I know how to fix the part that needs fixing. - Check!

  • Work on at least one thing for my bingo card. - Check! (But only because I did some work yesterday while I was writing this entry.)

  • Write miscellaneous snippets as inspired. - Check!

  • Say positive things on Twitter. - Not exactly. I was feeling miserable and cranky and forgot all about this.
Goals for October:
  • 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of the novel, except Fridays, until it's done. I'm about half a sex scene away from finishing the first draft. Once it's done, take a week off of thinking about it, then start rereading/editing. Spend at least 15 minutes per day during the week and half an hour per day on weekends editing, except Fridays.

  • 200 words per day during the week and 300 words per day on weekends of my Leighton/Victoria story, except Fridays.

  • Rewrite the last scene of "Must Seem So Strange" (previously known as "the Mike/Kevin story") and decide if it's actually done/postable. The first scene of the story takes place on Halloween; I might as well try to finish it for this Halloween.

  • Work on at least one thing for my bingo card.

  • Write miscellaneous snippets as inspired.

  • Say positive things on Twitter.
