Year in Review.
Dec. 31st, 2001 06:20 pmI thought about jumping on the bandwagon and doing "The Good, The Bad, and The Resolutions." In fact, I thought about it all day. But the bad outweighs the good, and if I make resolutions, I do so at the end of August, which is also the beginning of the school year. However, it is the end of a year, and that should mean something. It is even the end of the first year of this journal. But you don't want to hear my ramblings on the end of the year.
So let's talk turkey, or, rather, books. My mother mentioned when I was home in January that she was keeping track of the books she was reading. We used to do this in my fourth, fifth and sixth grade GATE classes. We kept book lists. Mine were always at least three sheets of paper, front and back. Only David Lim was ever able to rival the numbers of books I read. And so, when my mother said she was keeping track, I decided that it sounded like a good idea. I wanted to see what I read, how often I read, and just how many books I read in a year. Then I thought, why not type it all up neatly and post it to my webpage? And so I give you the grand list of books I read this year. Enjoy and please do feel free to discuss if you've read any of them.
