Thankfulness: November 9, 2008

Today I'm thankful for the ability to find my own entertainment, and for people who join in. I was in yet another local coffee shop this morning, and the baristas were hard selling the pumpkin pie, which L, another member of my writing group, and I were finding hilarious. Later, a couple of women came in, and one of them said, "Pumpkin pie! I remember that from last year." Then, shortly before we left, another employee came in and was hanging out behind the counter and eating pumpkin pie. We considered going up and asking about the pumpkin pie, and perhaps mentioning that we'd heard good things about it.
