2008 Project: One-Sentence Journal
Jan. 1st, 2008 07:09 pmWhen I was reflecting on the experience of writing down one thing I'm thankful for every day from November 1 through Thanskgiving, I mentioned Gretchen's one-sentence journal idea. It originally appealed to me as a way to keep me in the habit of writing.
fuseji said that keeping a journal "feels kind of like writing a User's Manual for myself," which appeals to me.
So here's my other project for 2008: I'm going to keep a one-sentence journal. I will write (at least) one sentence every day. I had intended to post them here, to keep me on track, but the more I think about it, the more I want to keep it for myself, although anything I write about is, of course, fair game for a longer entry. If this works the way I expect it to, you will most likely see more writing from me this year.
