Never-Finished Fic: Dre/Em

Okay, now I'm digging deep into some old-school fic. The idea for this was an AU where Dre runs a brothel. One of the customers is too rough with Em, and it eventually leads to the true love of Dre and Em.

"Open this door right now!" When there was no response, Dre banged on the door again. "Don't make me unlock it myself." When he was met with further silence, he took out his keys and, swearing all the while, found the right one for the door. He was still swearing when he opened the door, but stopped as he took in the scene before him. Red blood spreading out over the white sheets even as bruises darkened on pale skin. Dre swore again and yelled for Snoop. "Get the doctor. Now!" Dre's shout brought some of his other boys running, even as Snoop obeyed his command. Dre singled them out as they arrived, sending them for water, washcloths, and bandages. He was trying to staunch the blood when Snoop returned with the doctor.

The doctor promptly pushed him out of the room, saying, "Snoop's done this before. He can help," and shutting the door firmly.
