The Wish List Meme

Instructions
Step One
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
The List
1. A Better World
You may remember this from last year's list. I've been feeling selfish and uninterested in this one for most of the last week, but now that I'm over my cold, and I remember that this is truly what I want most.
2.
amatia and/or
schuyler to be my date to my cousin's New Year's Eve wedding reception
I know that in the real world, there are time, distance, and money issues to get in the way, but this is a fantasy world, and in the fantasy world, one of them goes with me.
3. Mail
You have no idea how much I love getting mail.
4. Additional female friends in my area
I'm not lonely in a general sense, but I am lonely for female friends I can spend time with here. I do spend time with the boys every week, and I love them, but there are a lot of things we don't talk about, and there are movies I won't go to with them, even if they would go with me. I had two good female friends I could talk to and spend time with, but one's very busy and the other's moving to New Orleans just after Christmas.
5. Good Klaus/Dorian Eroica fic
Preferably long, preferably with a mission, preferably romantic.
6. Fruit of the Earth Skin Cooling Aloe Vera lotion in a store near me in sizes larger than 4 oz.
I just ordered this from Amazon because I can't find it anywhere around here, and believe me I've looked.
7. A Massage
I'm not comfortable going to a massage therapist I know, but I also don't know very many people who get massages who I could ask for recommendations. The last time I had a massage, the woman used way too much massage oil.
8. A New Microwave
My old microwave was a hand-me-down from someone who'd had it for a very long time. It has dials for power and time instead of digital buttons, and it doesn't heat evenly. I want a new one that's not too big but big enough for an 11-inch dinner plate in black or metal, or possibly red. I keep thinking I should buy myself one, but I'm too lazy to do any research and see what I might want.
9. A Date
I don't mean this in a desperate, "I'm getting old and I'm going to die alone" sort of way, more in a curious, "I've never been on a date, and it sounds like it could be fun" sort of way. If you know women in my area I might like, send them my way.
10. Rags to Riches to come out on DVD
I have no idea what made me think of this. Rags to Riches was my favorite show when it was on. I'd love to be able to Netflix it and see if it's any good. My guess is no, but it might surprise me.
