Rating: Explicit.

Summary: Mike knows he's acting out, waiting for someone - Bill, usually - to do something about it. It won't be enough, but it'll be something.

Notes: This was originally going to be Mike/Kevin kink with Mike subbing, and then I realized it was really more of a Mike/Bill story. My intention if I were going to finish it was going to be to replace Kevin with someone who fit the story better.

Warning/Enticement: Kink, including spanking, bondage, and discussion of knife play.

Summary: Mike swings his feet down onto the floor and slides past Kevin in the doorway. It's too close, and Kevin can't help the way his eyes sweep over Mike's form. Mike's eyes crinkle at the edges, and then he's gone.

Notes: This was going to be a college AU, with poetry, and then I got distracted by the rest of TAI and Christine and lost track of it. Title from Walt Whitman's "Among the Multitude."

That One Knows Me )

I really want a story where Pete meets an unexpected dude somewhere (like Starbucks or the park or Whole Foods) who is really good with Bronx, to the point that Bronx invites him to sit/play/come home with them. Eventually, Pete and unexpected dude fall in love and have sex on days when Bronx is with Ashlee.

The question about this plot bunny is: who should the unexpected dude be? A Jonas brother? ("You're dating a Jonas," Gabe says, with a look that says way more than his words.) Chris Pine? ("Captain Kirk," Gabe says. "Is it out of this world?") Peter Dinklage? (Gabe says, "I can't believe you found another Peter even shorter than you.") Suggestions welcome!

I had this goal to post something ficcish every Sunday to Saturday week this month, and then this week turned out to be very busy. So instead of actual fic, have some plot bunnies. If you're a regular [livejournal.com profile] anon_lovefest reader, some of these might seem familiar.

One of my bingo squares is wingfic. I wrote the very beginning, but never did anything with it. Possibly because once I wrote this it almost sounded more like a Mike/Bill story. There are notes about the Mike/Kevin version below. (Also, I apparently have no idea how tall Bill is. This says 6'2", which must have seemed right for some reason. A quick google gives me 6'1" or 6'3", so maybe I just split the difference.)

One of my bingo squares is Regency romance. I wrote most of the story, but never quite finished it (although the missing parts are in the middle, so it does have an ending). I also never quite got all of the Regency stuff down, so historical/fake historical details and address may be all wrong.

One of my bingo squares is psychic bond. I wrote the very beginning (with other names) in answer to a writing prompt I no longer remember from my writing group, but never finished it. This is an AU where Mike and Bill work at a music store. I don't think I ever figured out what Kevin does.

One of my bingo squares is circus. I wrote much of the story, including both the very last scene and the important to my idea about this story scene, but I'm not going to finish it, so here it is, [SOMETHING GOES HERE] brackets and all.

Warning: Past death of Mike's family.

If I made a list of my favorite stories I never wrote, this would be near the top of it. One of my bingo squares is runaway/street kid. I'm a big fan of flipping things around, so I wanted to do this the unlikely way and have Kevin be the street kid. I also wanted to write a story where Mike is on really good terms with his parents. I wrote the beginning and the beginning of the alternate version, but never finished it, despite thinking about it a lot. I did, however, outline the whole thing in an email to [livejournal.com profile] icanbreakthesky, so this includes that as well as the bits I actually wrote.

I've seen a couple of different WIP posts/memes floating about, and I love both reading and doing those. This is bits from everything I think I might actually write more of or finish editing, except the Leighton/Vicky-T, which I still might finish for [livejournal.com profile] bandombigbang and so can't be shared elsewhere. There are a lot of things I don't think I'm going to write more of, and if you all will help me remember, I'll do some snippet/plot bunny posts this weekend. (You'll notice there are no Mike/Kevin bingo squares in here. I don't think I'm ever going to finish any of those. I'll eventually post them as never finished fic instead.)

I had to retrieve one of these and a couple of things for the plot bunny posts from Twitter, where I also found that I'd said this: "Description of my Twitter habits: Sometimes I write kinky sex. And then sometimes I interrupt the kinky sex to write different kinky sex." So true!

In this round, I wrote:

Oatmeal Raisin (Mike/Kevin) for [livejournal.com profile] allyndra: "Mike," Kevin calls, "why is there butter on the counter?"

Going the Same Place (Mike/Gabe) for [livejournal.com profile] mayqueen517: "We're going the same place. We can give you a ride."

girl!Tom/werewolf!Sean 2 (Tom/Sean, sequel to girl!Tom/werewolf!Sean) for an anonymous personage as requested by [livejournal.com profile] eleanor_lavish: On the full moon after they run into Mike and Bill, Sean can't settle.

Okay, technically my birthday isn't until tomorrow and I'm not promising anything until Sunday, but that's not as catchy a title. I do have a three-day weekend, though, so leave me a prompt and I'll write you something by Sunday night! Lurkers are always welcome to leave prompts. I may drift from your prompt a bit.

Master Post

Listening to this now, I'm not so sure it holds together as a mix on its own, but it put me right in the mood to work on the story every time I listened to it.

The story behind this story is that last August [livejournal.com profile] skoosiepants posted a prompt for a story wherein Mike and Kevin meet on Halloween when Pete has assigned Mike to dress in drag. I wrote a beginning, and then I kept writing. And writing and writing and writing. And eventually I reached a place where I didn't really want to be working on this anymore, and it does have an ending that more or less works as an ending. To be a real story, it would need some editing and possibly another 30,000 words. Sadly, this is not going to happen, but I still love much of it and you might enjoy it.

Thanks are due to [livejournal.com profile] eleanor_lavish, [livejournal.com profile] sunk_the_glow, [livejournal.com profile] lakeeffectgirl, and [livejournal.com profile] mayqueen517, who let me add them to the Google Doc so I would feel responsible to someone and who left me entertaining and helpful comments. I've been working on this for a long time, so there may have been other people who were also helpful in ways I've since forgotten about. You have my thanks too.

Disclaimer: Entirely fictional.

Summary: Mike doesn't really know how these things happen to him. No, wait, he does. He can totally blame it on Bill. / Kevin doesn't really know how these things happen to him. It's possible he was a disobedient lemur in a past life and this is how the universe is letting him make amends. Or maybe there's like, some kind of quota for number of crazy things a person has to do in his life, and fate's just helping him along. But probably, probably it's just Joe's fault.
